wildly back and forth between frustration and contentment

back and forth between classes I am tired of and my incredible, cool, good smelling bed

back and forth between my at one time guaranteed employment likely dissolving and summer ale on the patio

back and forth between this awful Medieval Romance paper and the promise of a sunny week

back and forth between the stresses and stupidity of the end of the term and my always-comforting, bright-eyed man who tells me he waited all day to hold me and tell me he loves me over and over with his face buried in my hair

…and of course the kitten, baby Lenny, whom I love with both the ecstatic love one feels for adorable baby animals and what I can only imagine one feels for her own child

(funny, since I have absolutely no interest or love for baby humans at all) 

I need summer, and real swings to swing on.
